PeakWorks offers a new line of third-party certified self-retracting lifelines (SRLs) that meet the latest CSA Z259.2.2 standard for Leading Edge (LE) and vertical anchor point applications. These LVARs are designed to protect the user when working near an edge where there is a risk of falling. They provide additional protection against sharp or abrasive surfaces found on many job sites. The lightweight and durable aluminum housing is approved for use in both horizontal and vertical applications. Attachment points consist of a swivel eyelet on the housing and double-locking carabiners with fall indicators that connect to the D-ring on the user's fall arrest harness.
Self-retracting downslope lifelines (LVARs) are designed to protect workers when working near an edge that the lifeline could potentially contact in the event of a fall.
Self-retracting lifelines provide additional protection against sharp or abrasive surfaces found on many job sites. A self-retracting lifeline can be mounted below the D-ring of the worker's fall arrest harness (refer to the instruction manual for details).
All PeakWorks LVAR products are clearly labeled to ensure the correct LVAR is used for downslope applications. The anchor point features a durable, heavy-duty swivel swivel.
